Maitres du Temps Chapter Three RevealAt first of the year, Maitres du Temps unveiled its third creation, Chapter Three Reveal. Just like the previous two masterpieces, it uses a mechanism that has special rollers to indicate information. This timepiece is the best example of high-end, individual watchmaking. Its technological excellence is matched by a design that perfectly combines style and luxury with the perfect execution of elements.
They are used as a day/night and second time zone indicators on the Chapter Three Reveal.
The round case is a first for a Maitres du Temps watch. The 42mm diameter watch is made in either rose gold or 18 karat white gold. The case is beautifully polished and has a crown that includes a pusher. This crown starts an amazing spectacle by opening and shutting doors at the bottom and the top of the dial.Mido Replica Watches There are sliding rollers behind those doors. The rollers at 6 and 12 o’clock indicate the time in the second zone. On the dial, there are also small sub-dials for date and second time zones as well as an indicator of moon phase. The Caliber SHC03 manual-winding movement, with its 319 components and Haute Horlogerie finishes visible through the sapphire case-back, is responsible for all these performances. This piece of art, which is mounted on an elegant hand sewn crocodile band, costs $88,500.
MB&F Legacy Machine Number 1It's interesting to note that the same person who was responsible for Chapter Three (Kari Vauvainen, who worked with Andreas Strehler) also created MB&F Legacy Machine Number 1 and both watches made it onto this prestigious list. It's a remarkable achievement. The company has just released its latest horological device.
Maximilian Busser wanted pay homage to the rich heritage of watchmaking by using classic elements, but giving them a contemporary touch.
Busser, fascinated by the large balance wheels with slow frequency (Franck Muller Replica), decided to reinterpret these traditional elements for regulating accuracy by repositioning them to float over a mechanism and dials. The new arrangement may look futuristic but the traditional elements are still present. A large 14mm balance wheel, a Breguet-style overcoil balance spring, and a mobile studholder. This three-dimensional hand-winding watch movement was developed by Jean-Francois Mojon, Kari Voutilainen and features the first vertical power-reserve indicator in the world, which is driven by an ultra-flat, ceramic bearing differential.
